Daniel Owen are seeking an experienced Heating Engineer to join a reputable building services company on a North London contract.
There are both MOBILE and STATIC roles available!! Van and fuel card only available for the mobile position
Heating Engineer Responsibilities:
- Install, maintain, and repair pipes and fixtures (i.e. radiators, cylinders and 3 port valves)
- Diagnosing faults and replacing central heating components in properties served by a communal system.
- Conform to relevant technical standards and follow technical drawings and plans to carry out maintenance and improvement works effectively.
- Provide professional service and represent the company to ensure customer satisfaction.
- Ensure inspections are recorded and faults reported in strict accordance with company, client and regulatory guidelines.
- Complete necessary paperwork to a satisfactory standard.
- Meet customer and contract expectations by carrying out works promptly to a high standard.
- Work safely, complying with current Health & Safety legislation.
Heating Engineer Requirements:
- NVQ Level 2 Plumbing and Heating
- To demonstrate and have excellent general fault finding/diagnostic skills and the ability to carry out necessary repairs/replacement of defective parts.
- 5 years or more in installing, maintaining, repairing, and removing heating systems within a multi-occupancy dwelling setting.
- HIU experience (ideal but not essential)
- To be competent of draining down and re-filling of heating system/s to remove and replace defective/leaking radiators or associated isolation valves.
- Able to safely isolate and perform repairs on wet heating systems and controls.
