Person Specification
Essential:
• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)with experience in primary or Early Years education.
• Proven track record of working with children withSEND, particularly those withASCand complex learning profiles.
• A deep understanding of inclusive teaching practices and differentiated learning strategies.
• Ability to build strong, trusting relationships with pupils, families, and colleagues.
• Excellent organisational, interpersonal, and communication skills.
• Passionate about ensuring all pupils reach their full potential.
Desirable:
• Training or experience inAAC,Makaton,TEACCH,PECS,or sensory integration approaches.
• Experience working in a specialist provision or resource base setting.
• Knowledge of current SEND legislation and best practices.
• Experience developing and delivering interventions that support emotional regulation and engagement.
