Summary

Warehouse Operative

Location: Rocester, Uttoxeter
Working Days & Hours:

  • Monday to Thursday: 6:00pm to 4:30am

Pay Rates of a Warehouse Operative:

  • Standard: £16.54 per hour
  • Overtime: £19.85 per hour (paid after 39.5 standard hours)

Requirements of a Warehouse Operative :

  • Experience picking stock based on part numbers and labels
  • FLT experience is a massive advantage but not essential
  • Strong understanding of safety regulations and guidelines
  • Physical stamina, as the role involves manual handling
  • Ability to work safely and efficiently in a fast-paced environment
  • Good communication and teamwork skills

This role requires working outdoors in various weather conditions

Responsibilities:

  • Line feeding: Supplying and supporting the production line with required materials or parts in a timely and organized manner
  • Inventory control: Helping to maintain accurate inventory records and reporting any discrepancies
  • Record keeping: Maintaining detailed records of material movements and deliveries
  • Picking, checking, storing, and packing automotive goods either manually or using RDT technology to a high standard of accuracy
  • Pump trucking stacks of full totes and sorting them to the appropriate department
  • Preparing products for shipment and ensuring accurate loading
  • Loading and unloading trailers safely according to procedures
  • Regular heavy lifting
  • Maintaining high levels of health and safety and reporting any concerns
  • Assisting with inventory counting and stock investigations when needed
  • Maintain clear communication with team members and supervisors
