Summary
Rullion have 3 x contract roles with a prestigious Rolling Stock and Light Rail client, based at their tram depot in Nottingham.
This is a great opportunity for candidates with an NVQ level 3 or equivalent in Mechanical Engineering/Fitting to provide maintenance and reliability to our clients light rail fleet.

Contract Role - rolling 6 months
Rates:
This role falls inside of IR35 and therefore payment options are PAYE or Umbrella:
* PAYE £19.98/hour + accrued holidays
Or
* UMBRELLA = £25.46 per hour (first 12 weeks) / £26.71 per hour (after 12 weeks) - Overtime Rate at request.
Shift Pattern:
Monday to Thursday on Day Shifts only. Friday is an option for overtime as of when required.
Purpose of the role:
Being part of the depot autonomous team, you will be responsible for providing mechanical expertise and support in delivery of our clients contractual obligations for maintenance and service of their tram fleet.
Main duties and responsibilities will include:
* To work as a member of a team to service, maintain, repair and overhaul tram stock & equipment
* Work as directed by and in co-operation with the Production Manager and comply with all depot protection procedures
* Understand and abide to safety notices, rules and regulations and follow safe working practices, H & S.A.W. and C.O.S.H.H.
* Adhere to and work within Quality Systems to the current standard
* Work as part of a team, complete or assist in any of the team's activities to ensure work is completed on time to specification
* Routine exam work
* Routine primary fault finding (to level of competency)
* Component exchange
* Stores provision
Candidate requirements:
* Time served apprenticeship (or equivalent) with associated technical qualifications (City & Guilds, SVQ, NVQ) or recognised equivalent
* Practical knowledge and experience of mechanical and/or electric engineering
* Experience of working to procedures, work instructions and vehicle maintenance instructions.
* Experience with either: Rolling Stock, Light Rail, Military Engineering, Aerospace, HGV or Large Transportation.
This role is subject to Drugs & Alcohol testing, due to working in a safety critical environment.
