Summary
Job Title: Digital Media, PR and Communications Officer
We are seeking an experienced Digital Media, PR and Communications Officer to lead the creation and delivery of our digital media, press, and communications strategy. This is a key role responsible for managing the College’s social media presence, generating engaging content, and maintaining a strong and positive public image across all digital and PR channels. This is a fixed-term contract to cover maternity leave until September 2026.
About the Role:
As our Digital Media, PR and Communications Officer, you’ll take the lead in:
• Creating and managing compelling digital content for all platforms
• Managing and growing our social media presence
• Coordinating press and PR communications
• Overseeing internal and external communications
You will also line manage the Videographer and Content Creator and support the Website and Digital Content Manager with team coordination and leadership responsibilities.
Essential Requirements:
You are a creative and confident communicator with:
• A strong background in digital media, PR, or communications
• Proven experience in content creation and social media management
• Exceptional copywriting skills and attention to detail
• A solid understanding of public relations and media engagement
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite
• Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple workloads
• A relevant degree and at least a GCSE grade C (or equivalent) in English Language
