Summary

On joining our team you’ll be providing great customer service by delivering and collecting equipment from customers, suppliers, and other Vp businesses in a professional, safe, and timely manner.

You will also play a crucial role in supporting the branch and building positive customer relationships through high quality technical handovers and answering basic equipment queries.


Key Responsibilities

  • Drive company vehicles safely and in compliance with UK laws, prioritising the safety of yourself and others on the road
  • Interact with customers during equipment deliveries and collections, addressing any queries and ensuring a positive and professional experience.
  • Perform thorough cleaning and testing of returned equipment,
  • Use of digital tools such as our M42 system to streamline operations and track deliveries
  • Utilize route planning software to optimize delivery routes, minimize travel time, and maximise efficiency
  • Accurately complete all necessary processes related to deliveries, collections, and technical handovers
  • Undertake any mandatory and other training required to do the job role


What We’re Looking For

  • Ability to engage effectively with customers, providing clear and concise information during technical handovers.
  • Ability to prioritise customer satisfaction by addressing customer inquiries, ensuring their understanding of equipment usage, and building positive relationships.
  • Possess basic numeracy, IT, and literacy skills to fulfil administrative requirements.
  • Familiarity with the local area to optimise routes and provide relevant information to customers.
  • Display flexibility in adapting to varying job responsibilities and contribute to the overall success of the team and business.
