Position: Accommodation Keyworker (Female)
Location: Somerset Women’s Centre
Salary: £25,000 - £27,000 per annum (dependent on experience)
Hours: 17.5 hours per week (flexibility required)
Contract Term: Fixed Term until 31st August 2026

At Somerset Women’s Centre, we are dedicated to supporting women in obtaining and maintaining safe and suitable accommodation. We work closely with voluntary and statutory services to provide targeted support and help women thrive in their new home environments.

What You'll Do:
Liaise with local housing providers and authorities to develop pathways into accommodation for women.
Provide specialist advice and support to women with housing complexities.
Coordinate support and interventions to achieve positive outcomes.
Offer life skills workshops, rental skills, and advocacy.
Work collaboratively with other agencies to prevent, safeguard, reduce risk, and improve safety for women.

Requirements:
Understanding of issues leading to homelessness and insecure accommodation.
Experience in the homelessness or housing sector.
Awareness of trauma-informed approaches and gender-specific issues.
Ability to develop partnerships and navigate complex systems.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
