Job Description – Chemistry Teacher

Full-Time, Permanent Chemistry Teacher Role – Starting September 2025
Paid to Scale – Competitive salary based on experience

Teach Across Key Stages – KS3, KS4, and potential KS5

Chemistry Teacher - What You’ll Be Doing:

• Planning and delivering engaging Chemistry lessons across KS3–KS5
• Promoting a passion for science through practical and theoretical learning

• Encouraging students to consider careers in STEM
• Creating a positive and inclusive classroom environment
• Collaborating with colleagues within a strong science faculty

Chemistry Teacher - What We’re Looking For:

• A qualified teacher with QTS (or due to qualify by Summer 2025)
• A degree in Chemistry or a related science subject
• Strong subject knowledge and enthusiasm for teaching Chemistry
• A commitment to student success and professional growth
• Excellent classroom management and communication skills
• ECTs are welcome and will be fully supported throughout their induction year
