JOB TITLE: Charity Workers (Youth and Community Workers)
LOCATION: Bellingham, United Kingdom
HOURS: 30 hours per week (including weekends)

JOB OVERVIEW
City of Praise International Ministries is a vibrant, multi-ethnic church based in Bellingham, UK. We are currently seeking dedicated and compassionate Charity Workers to serve as Youth and Community Workers. This role focuses on engaging with young people and the wider community through a range of programs and activities that promote inclusion, support, and personal development.
The role includes provision for maintenance and living expenses. It requires flexibility, commitment, and a heart for service.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
• Assist in organising and supporting community events, youth activities, and outreach programs.
• Distribute promotional and informational materials (e.g., bulletins, handouts, flyers).
• Foster a welcoming, safe, and engaging environment for all participants.
• Support the setup and breakdown of venues for meetings, services, and events.
• Contribute to the planning and evaluation of community initiatives.
ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS
• Strong communication and active listening skills.
• Initiative, enthusiasm, and a proactive attitude.
• Excellent organizational and planning abilities.
• Good negotiating and interpersonal skills.
• Commitment to equality, diversity, and inclusion.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel.
• A heart for ministry and a servant-leadership mindset.
• Strong command of English (spoken and written); knowledge of an additional language is an asset.
• Cultural sensitivity and the ability to work with diverse communities.
• Experience in youth ministry, evangelism, or church-based outreach is highly desirable. (Pentecostal background preferred.)
