Summary
Offer spiritual and emotional support to Muslim patients and their families. Provide religious care including prayer support, Quranic recitation, and advice on Islamic practices in healthcare settings. Work collaboratively with colleagues from different faiths and backgrounds. Support staff in navigating faith-related concerns and ensuring inclusive care. Participate in regular meetings and contribute to the development of inclusive chaplaincy services. A practicing Muslim with appropriate religious endorsement or certification. Experience in chaplaincy, pastoral care, or community religious leadership. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Ability to work empathetically with people of all faiths and none. Understanding of healthcare environments and sensitivity to patient care.
