Summary


An exciting opportunity has risen for a motivated and experienced paediatric dietitian to join a well-established community paediatric dietetic service based in Enfield. This post is a 15hrs part-time fixed term contract for 6 months.

We are a friendly and supportive team of dietitians within the Enfield Children’s Community Services. You will be part of an expanding, dynamic and patient driven community paediatric dietetic team. We are dedicated to delivering excellent patient care, enhancing service provision and developing new and exciting ways of delivering care to patients within the community.

The post holder will assess, advise and monitor children and young people across the primary care setting in Enfield for children with a range of conditions including obesity, selective eating behaviours and faltering growth. You will carry out clinics at Cedar House and deliver group education sessions and workshops. Collaborative and partnership working is an important part of the role. Service improvements and developments are welcomed and encouraged.

You will be well supported and will receive regular individual supervision to support your practice as well as CPD and training opportunities.

The post holder will provide a comprehensive and high-quality dietetic service to paediatric patients (0-19) and their families within community clinics across the Borough of Enfield. They will play an integral role in service development, delivering clinical expertise in weight management, nutrition support, and educational healthy eating workshops. The dietetic service will continue to evolve to ensure effective patient care and multidisciplinary collaboration within Primary Care settings.

As part of an integrated healthcare team, the post holder will work closely with professionals including health visitors, school nurses, education teams, and speech and language therapists, ensuring a collaborative approach to supporting the nutritional needs of children and young people. The post holder will be required to carry out face to face clinics and educational workshops on site at Cedar House and other community locations.
