We are seeking to recruit an experienced support worker to join our existing team. George Williams House is a self-contained accommodation unit for 15 households. The role of Support Worker is an inspirational one and key to achieving outcomes for vulnerable clients. As a motivated and dynamic Support Worker you will be responsible for working closely with our young people and families, developing and delivering a programme of high-quality support which promotes clients’ choice and control. Young People and Families are referred to our service due to experiencing homelessness, for a multitude of reasons. Our aim is to support young people and families by providing a settled period of accommodation during which time staff can help them to develop their capacity, self-esteem and life skills to enable them to live independently in the community.We are an Ofsted Registered Service, as part of ‘The Supported Accommodation (England) Regulations 2023’. This introduces national standards, inspection arrangements for providers of supported accommodation for looked after children and care leavers aged 16 and 17. The four standards are Support, Protection, Leadership & Management and Accommodation.
