TeacherActive is thrilled to be working with a lovely private day nursery in Leeds, LS8. The Nursery cares for upwards of 40 children each day, all between the ages of 6 months and 5 years of age. The nursery help children learn by helping them explore their surroundings & choose which activities interest them that help stimulate their learning. The current team help build the children’s confidence and independence, supporting them as they learn and develop new skills.
The nursery are currently searching for a part-time Early Years Assistant to join their growing team. The successful applicant will join the team in providing a high standard of care and support for the children within the setting, and will be able to help design activities based on the children’s interests that help with different areas of their development. The ideal Early Years Assistant must have previous experience working within an Early Years setting, with a good knowledge of the Early Years Foundation Stage & it’s curriculum.
The successful Early Years Assistant will:
• Be passionate about working with young children
• Have a good understanding of current Child Protection & Safeguarding policies and procedures
• Be eager to learn new skills and build on their development as an Early Years Assistant
