Summary
Skilled/Semi skilled Mechanic/Technician
Golf Buggies gb/Event Buggy Hire are currently looking for a mechanic to join our small but busy family business near Rothwell just off junction 30 of the M62.
We have been established for over 26 years and are one of the market leaders in the Sales Service and rental of petrol and electric buggies and short term event buggy hire to a very diverse customer base from large sporting events, Music Festivals, Film and Television and Holiday Parks as well as the Golf Industry to name but a few.
We are also main dealers of EZGO and Cushman buggies.
We have a varied fleet of c500 buggies ranging from 2 seat petrol & electric buggies up to 4 seat diesel 4x4 Mules and everything in-between.
Your daily duties will involve routine servicing, general repairs, breakdowns and preparing hire buggies prior them going out.
Reporting to the Operations Manager you will be a team player whilst also being able to work under your own initiative.
Whilst you may not have any formal mechanical qualifications a general knowledge of petrol/diesel engines would be required. Full training will be given in all aspects of the products we work with which have reasonably simple “Old school” running gear.
Normal working hours are Monday to Friday 7.30am to 4.00pm with some very occasional overtime during peak season (Summer).
