We are looking for a dedicated Cook to be part of our skilled catering team. You’ll play a key role in enhancing the dining experience for our residents by preparing wholesome, flavourful meals that are tailored to a variety of dietary needs and preferences.
As a Cook at our home, your role will involve:
Preparing and serving high-quality, nutritious meals from scratch in a clean and safe kitchen
Assisting in managing daily catering operations
Supporting with stock control and ordering of food supplies
Maintaining compliance with food safety, hygiene, and health regulations
Contributing to menu planning and ensuring variety and balance
Supporting the Head Chef and 2nd Chef in the smooth running of the kitchen

*Overtime is paid for working over fulltime hours. Free meals are given if working over an 8 hour shift and are subject to terms and conditions. Discounts are accessed using our ‘Reward Me’ app. Flexible pay is available via ‘WAGESTREAM’.
What we’re looking for:
Proven experience in a busy kitchen environment
Strong passion for creating fresh, home-cooked meals
Ability to work to dietary guidelines and individual care plans
Experience in food budgeting and recipe costing
Excellent team player with a positive, proactive attitude
Food Hygiene Level 2 (or willingness to undertake training)
