Summary
Team Leadership: Lead, motivate, and mentor the store team to ensure top-notch customer service and a positive work environment. Set clear performance goals and provide ongoing feedback to staff.
• Customer Experience: Create a welcoming and engaging environment for customers. Handle escalated customer concerns, resolve issues promptly, and ensure a high standard of customer satisfaction.
• Inventory & Stock Management: Oversee stock levels, manage ordering, and ensure that the store is always well-stocked. Coordinate with suppliers to maintain product availability and freshness while minimizing waste.
• Store Operations: Manage day-to-day operations, including opening and closing procedures, cash handling, and maintaining store cleanliness and organization.
• Sales Growth & Strategy: Implement sales strategies to meet or exceed revenue targets. Collaborate with the marketing team to plan and execute promotions, events, and special offers that drive footfall and sales.
• Financial Oversight: Monitor and control store expenses, including payroll and operational costs, to maintain profitability. Analyze sales and financial reports, providing insights and recommendations for improvement.
• Training & Development: Recruit, train, and onboard new team members. Ensure that all staff are fully trained on company policies, products, and procedures, and continue to develop their skills through ongoing training initiatives.
• Health & Safety Compliance: Ensure that the store complies with health and safety standards, conducting regular audits, and implementing necessary changes to meet food safety and hygiene regulations.
• Supplier Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, ensuring timely deliveries and negotiating favorable terms where possible.
• Performance Tracking: Regularly review store performance metrics, such as sales, customer feedback, and team performance. Identify opportunities for growth and improvement, and take action to address underperformance.
• Innovation & Improvement: Identify and implement innovative ways to enhance the store's efficiency, customer experience, and overall performance. Continuously look for ways to improve processes and services.
Qualifications & Skills:
• Proven experience in a managerial role within retail or hospitality, with a track record of successful team leadership and store management.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a team.
• Excellent customer service skills, with a passion for delivering outstanding service and creating memorable experiences for customers.
• Proficiency in inventory management, sales tracking, and financial reporting.
• Strong organizational skills, with the ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
• Knowledge of food safety, health, and safety regulations, with the ability to ensure compliance within the store.
• Problem-solving skills and the ability to make decisions under pressure.
• Flexibility to work varying shifts, including weekends and holidays as required.
