About the Company
Delava Care is a small Supported Living service offering 24 hour care for people with Autism and Learning Disabilities. We provide a kind and caring environment for the people we support, enabling them to lead fulfilling lives as independently as possible.
We require a new team member who has a willingness to learn and complete an induction, as well as any necessary further training. Punctuality and reliability is an important part of the role, as well as being adaptable and having a strong team spirit. Essential characteristics are being kind, patient, trustworthy and having good communication skills.

What does this Weekend Support Worker job involve?
Hours of Work:16 Hours Per Week - Shifts: 10:00 - 18:00
• Support with personal care.
• Domestic tasks such as cooking, cleaning, laundry, gardening etc.
• Supporting people we support to access the community - shopping, walking or using public transport, leisure activities in and around Hatfield or further afield.
• Follow care plans, risk assessments and safeguarding policies to ensure support is carried out appropriately.
• Plan and follow menus and timetables.
• Take responsibility for managing petty cash.
• Write daily notes documenting routines and activities that have been undertaken and highlighting any concerns.
• Attendance at team meetings, appraisals and supervision sessions is also a necessary part of the role.
