Looking to gain valuable classroom experience? Are you confident, adaptable, and ready to support secondary school students? Supply Today is seeking Cover Supervisors to work on a flexible, supply basis across local schools.
This is an excellent opportunity for graduates, aspiring teachers, teaching assistants, or anyone with a passion for education looking to step into the classroom!
About the Role:
As a Cover Supervisor, you’ll supervise whole classes during the short-term absence of a teacher. While you won’t be required to teach, you will ensure students remain on task and follow the work set.
Key Responsibilities:
Managing classroom behaviour in line with school policies
Delivering pre-prepared lesson materials to students
Supporting students with tasks and ensuring engagement
Reporting back on attendance and any behavioural concerns
✅ What We’re Looking For:
Strong classroom presence and confidence
Good communication and organisational skills
Ability to manage groups of students effectively
Experience working with young people is a bonus, but not essential
A flexible and professional approach to work
Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willing to apply for one)
