Hours per week: 35 hours
Rate of pay: Grade 3 (£30,455 - £34,822)
Temporary until 1st June 2027
The main purpose of this role is to support customers and households at risk of homelessness, taking a holistic and asset-based community development approach to enable tenancy sustainment and support the aims of River Clyde Homes Group strategic objectives and to provide intensive support to help vulnerable customers to maintain their tenancy where it is at risk.

Ø Provide structured support and help to establish networks to enable vulnerable and at-risk customers to understand their responsibilities and support them to develop effective strategies to better manage those responsibilities.

Ø Provide wrap around support and co-ordination with a range of stakeholders including Inverclyde HSCP and specialist organisations to provide a holistic approach to sustaining tenancies.

Ø Work closely with the Area Housing Teams and Financial Wellbeing Team to assess and accept referrals and regularly communicate progress on case work. This includes identifying customers requiring support and providing assistance to the Area Housing teams and Financial Wellbeing Team but maintaining responsibility for the case work.

Ø Support the Housing Officer/Assistant Housing Officer with sign ons and settling in visits for customers with more complex needs and who would benefit from support to sustain their tenancy.

Ø Undertake appropriate training and participate in the implementation of trauma-informed approaches to customer support.

To be successful in this role it is essential that you have recent experience of undertaking a similar role and providing person-centred support and an understanding of social housing and homelessness services and knowledge of key stakeholders/specialist organisations who can offer support and guidance.
