The Governors of Brunswick Community Primary School are looking to appoint a Temporary Level 2 Teaching Assistant.
Applications are invited from motivated enthusiastic individuals who will support the team ethos of our school and join our hardworking and supportive staff.
The person appointed will be able to build and sustain positive relationships with children and adults, and have a commitment to personal training and development.Applicants should possess a high standard of spoken and written English, hold GCSE qualifications in English & Maths or their equivalent and hold NVQ for teaching assistants or an equivalent qualification or substantial relevant, previous experience.
Previous experience of intervention programmes and/or Special Educational Needs would be an advantage, as would experience across Key Stages. The successful candidate will have the skills to work effectively with teachers and other support staff and be able to run targeted learning with groups and individual pupils, where directed, with maximum impact, whilst also demonstrating great initiative and flexibility. Applicants will be able to demonstrate experience drawn from a range of educational environments.The ability to work as part of a team and flexibility in working hours is essential. Additional hours may be available on occasion.
