Summary


We are looking for a Senior Healthcare Assistant to join our Continence Service working within the Product Delivery Team.

The Product Delivery Service is a specialist team that assess and process referrals for continence products. The team work closely with the home delivery contract product supplier and the Home Delivery Transport Team.

The Product Delivery team assess, authorise and process product requests that are
received via referrals from the Continence/Bladder & Bowel Service, Community
Nursing Teams, Residential & Nursing Homes and other professionals.

Please note we can only accept applications from individuals with community nursing experience.

As a Band 3 Senior Healthcare Assistant within the team you will support the provision of high-quality bladder and bowel care for adults in Kent, mainly through the reassessment of products processes for the product delivery service/Kent continence service.

You will act as an advocate for patients with bladder and bowel dysfunction in a person-centred approach to ensure care is delivered that meets NICE
guidance and standards, whilst working within local eligibility criteria.

Additional Working Pattern: Full time/ part time / shared hours with community nursing covering M-F 0800-1700 – express wishes on application form
