Search are working in partnership with a well-established contractor based in the South who are currently seeking an experienced Multi-Craft Handyman for ongoing work in the Southampton area. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled tradesperson with a wide range of experience who is looking for a long-term position with a reputable company.
The role requires a versatile individual who is experienced in a variety of trades including joinery, plastering, taping and jointing, plumbing, and painting. You will be responsible for completing repairs and maintenance work to a high standard across a range of residential and commercial projects. This opportunity is a temp to perm opportunity offering long term work for the right candidate.
You will be responsible for:
* Performing general maintenance and repairs across multiple trades (joinery, plastering, taping, jointing, plumbing, painting)
* Undertaking small-scale refurbishments and repairs as required
* Ensuring all work is completed to a high standard and in compliance with health and safety regulations
* Working independently and managing tasks efficiently
* Communicating effectively with site management and other team members
To be considered for this role, you must have:
* Experience in a range of trades (joinery, plastering, taping and jointing, plumbing, painting)
* A valid CSCS card
* Own Van, tools and PPE
* Proven experience with references
* A proactive attitude and the ability to work independently or as part of a team
