Position Overview
The AI & Emerging Technology Specialist will be responsible for researching, evaluating, and implementing AI-driven tools and emerging technologies to enhance our digital presence, optimise business processes, and improve user experience. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in artificial intelligence, automation, and data analysis, with the ability to apply these technologies creatively to solve real-world challenges.
This is a fully remote role, but occasional travel may be required for industry events, team meetings, or special projects.
Key Responsibilities
AI & Automation Integration:
Research and implement AI-powered tools (e.g., chatbots, content generation, data analytics) to improve efficiency across different departments.
Develop and optimise automation workflows for marketing, customer support, and business operations.
Assist in the deployment of machine learning models for predictive analytics, personalisation, and decision-making.
Work with cross-functional teams to integrate AI capabilities into existing digital platforms and content strategies.
Technology Research & Innovation:
Stay ahead of emerging technologies, including AI, blockchain, Web3, AR/VR, and quantum computing, assessing their potential business impact.
Identify opportunities for innovation and recommend new technology solutions to enhance the company’s digital strategy and customer experience.
Experiment with and prototype new AI-driven tools, evaluating their feasibility and effectiveness for the business.
AI-Enhanced Content & Marketing:
Use AI tools to assist in content creation, personalisation, and audience engagement (e.g., AI-generated video, text, and image content).
Implement AI-powered analytics to measure and optimise digital marketing performance.
Support the marketing team in leveraging AI for SEO, targeted advertising, and automation.
Data Analysis & Performance Optimisation:
Develop AI-powered dashboards and reporting tools to provide actionable insights on customer behaviour, content performance, and operational efficiency.
Analyse trends and patterns in data to enhance decision-making and strategy development.
Implement AI-driven predictive analytics models to improve customer retention, lead generation, and business growth.
Person Specification
Essential Skills & Experience:
Proven experience in AI development, emerging technology research, or automation.
Strong knowledge of AI tools and frameworks (e.g., TensorFlow, OpenAI, LangChain, Hugging Face).
Experience with Python, R, or other programming languages for AI/ML applications.
Familiarity with AI-powered content generation (e.g., ChatGPT, MidJourney, RunwayML) and automation platforms.
Understanding of cloud computing platforms (e.g., AWS, Google Cloud, Azure) and AI deployment strategies.
Experience in data analysis, machine learning, or predictive modelling.
Excellent problem-solving and critical-thinking skills with the ability to apply technology to business challenges.
Ability to work independently in a remote-first environment while collaborating effectively with teams.
Desirable Experience:
Experience in natural language processing (NLP) and generative AI for content automation.
Familiarity with Web3, blockchain, or decentralised finance (DeFi).
