An exciting opportunity has arisen for someone who enjoys spending time with children, young people and adults, providing fun filled opportunities and creating special memories. You will bring a passion for providing a high standard of service with a holistic approach to care, whilst co-ordinating the smooth and efficient management of the therapeutic play and activity service for all children, young people and adults who access our services, working as part of the wider multi-disciplinary team.

This is a wonderful opportunity to create a stimulating environment to promote activities alongside education with health benefits. With a clear understanding of the benefits of therapeutic activities in a palliative care setting, you will possess the adaptability to liaise and coordinate across a variety of sessions meeting the needs of each individual’s unique requirements.

As the Wellbeing Senior Palliative Care nurse, I feel that providing outstanding care and support is something I am passionate about. I, along with the team get to make a real difference to patients and family’s journeys. I am proud to provide fun, rewarding, creative and engaging opportunities for patients that help give enjoyment every day. Our Children’s and Wellbeing Support Services helps patients to live well by being as in control of their condition as possible and, achieve the things that are important to them.
