We are seeking a driven and detail-oriented Assistant Cost Consultant or an experienced Cost Consultant to join a dynamic team based in luxury city centre offices in Birmingham. This is an exciting opportunity to support the delivery of high-quality cost management services across a range of prestigious construction projects. You'll work closely with the regional cost management team, contributing to projects success while also developing your professional skills in a supportive and collaborative environment.

Assistant Cost Consultant Responsibilities

  • Support the regional cost management team to achieve and exceed income and performance targets.

Assistant Cost Consultant Requirements

  • Ensure all tasks undertaken on your assigned projects are delivered in line with quality procedures and processes.
  • Undertake all Assistant Cost Consultant duties as necessary.
  • Undertake tasks relating to the cost control of projects. Review financial information in order to identify any anomalies or discrepancies to ensure management has access to up-to-date and accurate information.
  • Interpret data and prepare supporting documentation such as schedules, feasibility studies and cost reports, making straightforward recommendations to support senior colleagues in their decision-making process.
  • Communicate and highlight project process compliance issues to cost managers.
  • Liaise with stakeholders from across the business to provide support to internal clients
