We are seeking to employ compassionate, committed and reliable individuals.
Reporting to the Head Housekeeper, the Housekeeping Assistant is responsible for ensuring a high quality of service within the care home, ensuring the highest levels of cleaning are delivered at all times.
Working as part of a team, this role will ensure that cleaning duties are carried out and to provide a clean and welcoming environment for the residents, guests and visitors. As an integral part of the team you will get to know the residents and know what their preferences are in their individual spaces. You will take pride in presenting the home to its highest standard and help to welcome residents and their family and friends to the environment.
The applicant will initially be required to undertake cleaning duties within the care home, but from time to time may be asked to work within the laundry and kitchen as relief cover where full training will be provided.
Previous experience and ideally QCF Level 2 would be an advantage but is not essential. In house training and uniform is provided.
Successful applicants are required to undergo an Enhanced DBS disclosure and register to the update service.
Own transport is essential due to the location of the home.
Working Hours 8:00 AM - 15:00 PM. Five shifts out of seven, per week. Three or four shifts, part time (depending on the hours required).
Hourly Rate dependent on QCF £12.21 - £13.53
