Summary
Location: Leeming Bar, Northallerton, DL7 9UL
Hours: Mon to Fri, 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM
Additionally, Sat 8:00 AM to 12:00 noon.
Salary: £15:00 to £16:00 per/hr dep on exp
Reporting to the Hygiene Manager, your primary responsibilities will include planning, organizing, coordinating, and overseeing the cleaning of corridors, the canteen, offices, and restrooms to ensure compliance with hygiene standards.
The role will require you to supervise the domestic cleaning team, ensuring the highest standards are maintained by enforcing established cleaning procedures, hygiene practices, and operational standards to meet both customer and regulatory requirements.
Additional responsibilities will encompass the management of staff locker allocation, overseeing the provision of work overalls in collaboration with our third-party supplier to ensure compliance with appropriate size and cleanliness standards, as well as facilitating the training and development of your team in the proper hygiene and cleaning protocols necessary to uphold company practices.
Candidates should possess prior experience in managing small teams within a manufacturing setting in the food industry and demonstrate a successful track record of performing effectively under pressure. Excellent communication skills, a collaborative mindset, flexibility, and approachability are essential qualities, along with the ability to show evidence of enhancing the performance and skills of individuals and teams.
