The Role:
We are seeking a passionate and experienced Primary English School Improvement Advisor to lead and support the development of highly effective English provision across our family of 24 schools. You will work closely with Trust leaders, school leaders, subject leads, and teachers to drive improvement, support curriculum development, raise attainment, and build sustainable capacity within schools.
Key Responsibilities:
Support the development of the strategic direction and professional leadership for English across our primary schools, in partnership with the Director of Education and school improvement colleagues.
Design and deliver high-impact CPD, coaching, and mentoring for subject leaders and classroom teachers.
Support schools in implementing high-quality, evidence-based English curricula aligned with Trust vision.
Analyse data and provide expert advice to improve pupil outcomes in reading and writing.
Lead trust-wide initiatives to raise standards, reduce gaps, and develop literacy across the curriculum.
Contribute to trust reviews, monitoring visits, and evaluation of teaching and learning.
Work closely with the other members of the Trust School Improvement Team to support schools in other aspects of their improvement journey, such as supporting other curriculum subject leaders
