Black Eyewear is seeking a Locum Dispensing Optician to provide ad-hoc holiday cover at our boutique stores in St Albans and Goodge Street, London.

The Role:
As a locum Dispensing Optician, you’ll:
• Provide expert advice on lenses and frames tailored to individual needs
• Deliver outstanding, friendly customer service
• Ensure high standards in lens measurements, fittings, and adjustments
• Maintain accurate records and compliance with GOC guidelines
✅ Requirements:
• GOC-registered Dispensing Optician
• Previous retail optical experience
• Friendly, professional, and confident in styling clients
• Flexible and reliable – happy to travel between St Albans and Goodge Street as required
Schedule:
• Ad-hoc shifts to cover staff holiday periods
• Advance notice provided where possible
• Competitive daily rate
