Summary

United Response is seeking an experienced and strategic leader to take on the pivotal role of Head of Regulatory Compliance, Clinical Governance and Policy. This position is ideal for a subject matter expert (SME) with in-depth knowledge of social care regulations, who is passionate about driving quality, safety, and compliance across care services.

Key Purpose of the Role:

To ensure we can meet regulators' requirements and operate at an outstanding rating across our regulated services. To provide a framework of policies which supports the organisation to remain within the law and follow best practice.

What we need from you:

Qualifications

  • Essential: Membership of a relevant professional body (e.g. Institute of Risk Management, CQI, etc.)
  • Desirable: Level 7 qualification in a relevant field such as health and social care management, risk and compliance, public administration, or healthcare law.
  • Desirable: Past or present registration with the NMC or relevant regulator and/or have a nursing degree or equivalent clinical qualification.

Experience

  • Experience of being an organisation’s subject matter expert on Social Care Regulations, including CQC, CIW etc.
  • Experience of offering authoritative guidance to registered managers and senior leaders to ensure consistently high operational regulatory compliance.
