Summary
Job: Production Assemblers (Case Fitters)
Location: Wisbech
Hours: 6am – 6pm
Days : Monday -Thursday
Weekly pay: £544/ week
Overtime rate: £15.75/h
Our client is a successful and established manufacturer of bespoke, specialised cases and storage boxes.
The business is expanding, and they are looking for case fitters to join their team. This position is initially for 6 months. After 6 months there is a possibility of an extension.
Main duties:
• Build flight cases efficiently while always achieving a high quality standard using various tools inc. rivet guns, drills, and hand tools
• Follow job worksheets without deviation. Any changes required, report to the supervisor
• Follow your Supervisor`s instructions at all times
• Be punctual, be at your work station ready to work on time, and do not leave before the shift's finish time
• Be prepared to work in any area requested, carrying out any tasks you have been trained and signed off on.
• Be aware of set targets and strive to achieve them.
• Have a basic understanding of computers
Person spec
• Familiar with rivet guns, drills, hand tools, etc.
• Good eye for detail
• Physically fit, able to work with a large number of heavy items
• Team player but able to work on own initiative
• Calm in manner, with the ability to demonstrate a good level of accuracy and attention to detail
• Ability to prioritise changing workloads
