• Location: Lochbrae Court, Rutherglen
• Contract: Permanent
• Hours: 15 hours per week (Monday to Friday)
• Salary: The salary for this post is £9,828.00 per annum
Cairn Housing Group is seeking a dedicated and experienced Handyperson to ensure standards of safety are maintained, undertake tasks as identified by the line manager and always maintain confidentiality.
Key Responsibilities:
• Deliver an effective day to day service within the Court to provide excellent customer service to tenants.
• Maintain the common areas and carry out small repairs to ensure that the court is kept to a high standard, ensuring the standard of repairs carried out are to a qualitative and value for money service.
• Responsible for reporting repairs to Homeworks team, Court Coordinator or Housing Officer to ensure repairs are carried out.
• Assist/Schedule weekly fire alarm system checks to comply with Fire and Safety Regulations.
• Assist with compliance tasks including water temperature testing/showerhead cleaning.
Requirements:
• DIY/General maintenance skills and/or experience within a similar role.
• Strong IT skills & computer literate.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills and ability to work to own supervision.
• Pleasant and curious manner while being able to be empathetic.
• A Basic Disclosure is mandatory for this role.
