We’re looking for an experienced Heavy Plant Engineer with a background working for a main dealer in construction equipment. If you’ve been trained to dealer standards and want a field-based role where your expertise is valued—read on.
This opportunity is with a respected construction equipment distributor that is expanding its main dealer service team. You’ll cover the Cheshire area, supporting customers in the field and reporting into a well-equipped depot in Warrington.
Your Day-to-Day:
• Service, maintain, and repair a range of heavy plant equipment on-site
• Diagnose faults in hydraulics, electrics, and diesel engines using OEM tools
• Perform software updates and keep detailed service records
• Keep your van organised with parts and tools
• Provide excellent customer service, backed by main dealer-level expertise
Must-Haves:
• Main dealer experience in heavy plant equipment is essential
• Strong technical skills across hydraulics, electrics, and diesel systems
• NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in Plant, Agricultural, HGV or Mechanical Engineering
• Based in Cheshire with flexibility to travel locally
• Full UK driving licence, own toolkit, and right to work in the UK
