Are you a confident maths graduate who can help students succeed through focused academic support?
*** September 2025 to July 2026
*** £82–£102 per day
*** ‘Good’ secondary school, Ward of Hall Green
*** Provide support and guidance across the maths curriculum
*** Excellent experience for aspiring maths teachers
The Role
You’ll work with students across Key Stage 4, delivering 1:1 and small group sessions focused on GCSE Maths. You’ll help pupils struggling to keep up, as well as stretch those aiming for top grades. Tasks will include reinforcing core concepts, supporting revision, and building pupils’ confidence with problem-solving and exam technique. You’ll work closely with the maths department and contribute to the school’s wider intervention strategy.
The Candidate

You’re calm, clear, and confident in your subject knowledge, and you know how to explain tricky topics in a way that makes sense. You’re interested in teaching and want to build classroom experience before committing to training.
The School

The maths department is experienced, supportive, and committed to helping every student improve. Graduate coaches are valued members of the team and receive practical, on-the-job development.
Due to the number of applications, only successful candidates will be contacted.
