About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Multi-skilled Engineer with electrical bias to deliver quality engineering support predominately across the Nottingham site, but on occasions at the Scunthorpe site.

Reporting to the Engineering Team Leader, you will be responsible for the smooth running of production equipment and planned maintenance ensuring the maximisation of production line efficiencies and minimisation of downtime. You will also provide a rapid response to breakdowns and repairs, ensuring effective fault diagnosis and a "get it right first time" resolution.

You will be actively involved in ensuring that all equipment is in proper operational order, corrective maintenance is attended to in a timely manner and carried out effectively and safely, and all required spare parts are ordered and available at all times.

About You

You will be self-motivated, possess the ability to work autonomously as well as part of a team and enjoy being challenged.

You will be hardworking, reliable and demonstrate a caring and positive "can do" attitude to all engineering and maintenance issues raised.

You must be able to multi-task and work under pressure and be able to provide a rapid response to breakdown situations and demonstrate experience in providing correct and timely diagnosis of faults and first-time fixes.

Skills and Qualifications you have

Knowledge of 17/18th edition wiring regulations.

Level 3 or above qualification in Electrical Engineering, or a time served recognised apprenticeship in a relevant Engineering Discipline.

Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a similar role.

Previous experience in FMCG environment desirable but not essential.
Ability to prioritise and work effectively under pressure.

Strong Communication Skills, ability to ensure information is effectively communicated to other Departments.

Awareness of Health and Safety legislation.

Valid UK Driving License

Working Hours

Full time - Permanent

40 hours per Week,

Days of Work Sunday to Thursday

7.00 am - 4.00 pm, or until finish in breakdown situations
