Summary
This lovely family based in East London is looking for a Part-time Live-out Nanny to care for their toddler and school-aged child on a permanent basis. Fluency in Hindi is essential for this role. All general nanny duties are required, including light housekeeping related to the children such as laundry and tidying their rooms, as well as cooking for them. Both parents have highly demanding jobs, so they are seeking someone who is proactive and fully engaged in supporting the children’s development. The ideal candidate will encourage learning through fun and stimulating activities such as puzzles, crafts, outdoor play, reading, and developing fine and gross motor skills. A valid first-aid qualification is required for this position.
Working hours: Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday (Ideally 11:00 am to 3:00 pm, but there is flexibility for the right candidate).
Duties include:
Preparing healthy snacks and meals suitable for a school-aged child
Organising and maintaining the child’s daily schedule, including school and extracurricular activities
Assisting with morning and evening routines, including washing, dressing, and school preparation
Supporting homework and school projects in a calm, encouraging manner
Engaging the child in age-appropriate educational and recreational activities
Keeping track of the child’s development and regularly updating the parents
Ensuring the child’s safety, happiness, and well-being at all times
Maintaining a clean, organised environment for the child
Managing the child’s laundry and ironing, ensuring clothing is always clean and tidy
