Description
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced ASW (Advanced Social Worker) with a minimum of 2 years of post-ASYE (Assessment and Support Year in Employment) experience to join our dynamic team in the London MOC (Multi-Operational Center). In this role, you will contribute significantly to improving the lives of individuals and families by providing high-quality social work services. The ASW will work within a multi-disciplinary team and will be responsible for assessing needs, planning interventions, and ensuring the effective implementation of care plans. You will play a key role in safeguarding children and vulnerable adults, developing strong partnerships with families, and collaborating with other agencies to enhance service delivery. The ideal candidate is not only an advocate for social justice but also possesses strong analytical skills, is proficient in case management, and has a profound understanding of legislation and best practices in social work. You will be expected to engage proactively with clients, support their journey toward independence, and promote their well-being while ensuring compliance with relevant policies and legal frameworks. Responsibilities
Provide comprehensive social work assessments and formulate care plans.
Evaluate and monitor the progress of individuals and families, adjusting interventions as necessary.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and external agencies to deliver services effectively.
Maintain accurate and detailed case records, documentation, and reports in accordance with statutory requirements.
Act as an advocate for clients, ensuring their voices are heard and their needs are met within the system.
Participate in regular supervision and professional development opportunities to enhance skills and knowledge.
Support and mentor less experienced colleagues, promoting best practices within the team.
Requirements
A recognized social work qualification (e.g., CQSW, DipSW, or equivalent).
A minimum of 2 years post-ASYE experience in a relevant social work setting.
Strong knowledge of legislation and best practices in social work.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with an ability to build relationships with clients and colleagues.
Proven experience in working with vulnerable populations and understanding their diverse needs.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make informed decisions based on assessments.
Commitment to continuous professional development and reflective practice.
