Summary
The Best Connection Scotland are working alongside their Aviation client based at Glasgow Airport to recruit for General Operatives to join their team to work alongside them till the end of October.
The role of general operative will include: Restocking of stock Checking stock for damage Receiving goods into warehouse Picking and Packing Handling of packed food goods Working in tray wash Preparing of food For this role you will need the following skills and abilities:
Be able to handle pork, alcohol and tobacco products Be able to stand for long periods Be at least 18 years old Happy to work in a chilled environment Have good numeracy and English skills Must be fully flexible Shifts: These can be between Monday and Sunday: 5 days over 7am till 3pm or 9am till 5.30pm Please note: Due to the nature of our business, we are regulated by the CAA (Civil Aviation Authority), therefore it is compulsory for all applicants to provide or be willing to obtain the following: Be willing to apply for a Criminal Record Check (Paid for by us!) Have a full 5-year checkable history (Obtained for you by us!) Have resided in the UK for the past 5 years Be able to provide a full 5-year address history Have an in date and valid Photo ID (Passport, Driving Licence, ID Card etc)

- Hourly rate as above, or the appropriate National Minimum Wage (age dependent)
- 28 days Paid Annual Leave pro-rata for PAYE (inclusive of statutory holiday)
