Key Responsibilities:

• Plan and deliver engaging, well-structured lessons that promote a love of learning and intellectual curiosity
• Adapt teaching methods to respond to the strengths and needs of all children, ensuring they are supported and challenged appropriately
• Effectively use formative and summative assessment to track pupil progress and inform future planning
• Maintain a positive, safe, and inclusive learning environment, with clear rules and high expectations for behaviour
• Contribute to the design and delivery of a dynamic and enriching curriculum within the relevant subject area(s)
• Actively participate in the wider life and ethos of the school, building positive relationships with colleagues and parents

Requirements:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
• A passion for teaching
• The ability to inspire children
• Strong subject knowledge
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
• Commitment to ongoing professional development

Desirable Qualities:

• Experience in a subject leadership role
• Enthusiasm for working with a year group partner
• Proven track record of driving pupil progress and attainment
• Creativity and the ability to think outside the box
