HUTH is a great place to work and an exciting opportunity has arisen for a Band 6 Registered Midwife to join the Diabetes in Pregnancy service.
There are two posts advertised here. One post which is a secondment at 23.5 hours per week to cover maternity leave for 12 months. A second post at 16 hours per week as a perment and additional band 6 post.

As a Band 6 Diabetes Specialist Midwife you will provide high quality and safe midwifery care to women, birthing people and their families whose pregnancy is complicated by diabetes. You will be willing to develop a high level of relevant, expert knowledge and skills which you will use to manage, develop and lead care for pregnant people.
You will work alongside the Diabetes Specialist Midwife Lead and in partnership with the multi-disciplinary team to coordinate care based on a patients individual needs, providing a link between the maternity service and the other services involved in diabetes care.
You may be required to deputise for the Band 7 Diabetes Specialist Midwife and will be expected to act as a resource for diabetes specialist knowledge to other members of the multidisciplinary team.
