We are seeking to appoint a Premises Officer who has an excellent track record and the ability to lead a highly effective school site and premises team. Due to the retirement of our current Premises Officer, this position offers a fantastic opportunity to work in a Leicestershire LA maintained, large primary school, rated good & largely outstanding by Ofsted and situated between the border of Leicester City and the beautiful Bradgate Park.
We are looking for someone who: • can effectively oversee the maintenance and security of our school buildings and grounds. • will ensure the cleanliness and safety of all school facilities. • can lead our team of cleaning staff. • will be able to manage contractors and service providers to ensure high standards of work completed. • will conduct regular inspections and address any maintenance issues promptly. • can fulfil the full list of duties, skills and knowledge as outlined in the job description and person specification. • will work within the required health & safety regulations and in accordance with the school and Local Authority policy & procedures. • has good interpersonal and communication skills. • embodies a proactive approach to their daily role, enabling our senior leaders and teachers to focus upon delivering the best possible education and care for our pupils. • possesses resilience, positivity, drive and energy; a self-motivated team player who leads by example and has a good sense of humour.
