Summary
Your new school:An opportunity has arisen for a Qualified Teacher to work within a Primary School situated within Rhondda Cynon Taf.The school prides themselves on having an inclusive and supportive environment for both staff and pupils. If successful, you will be working with a helpful and caring Senior Leadership Team as well as excellent Teaching Assistants.
Your new role:This role is based in a KS1 classroom teaching 5 days a week. You will be responsible for full-time teaching responsibilities, including preparation, for a Primary School class size between 20 and 30 pupils.Duties relating to the role include but are not limited to:
- Create lesson plans
- Working as part of a team
- Creating and maintaining a safe, interactive and engaging learning environment for the pupils.
- Setting homework or exercises for pupils to practice after classroom hours.
- Encouraging the pupils to engage and participate.
- Demonstrating tasks, assigning and encouraging discussions.
What you'll need to succeed:
- You will need to be a qualified teacher holding a valid QTS.
- Hold a valid DBS on the update service or be willing to obtain one.
- A commitment to safeguarding and wellbeing of pupils.
- Up to date EWC registration.
- A passion for creating a safe and welcoming environment for children to succeed.
