Summary

Job Description

To support the early years team in administrative, practical and organisational tasks and also to support the learning activities of the children.

Responsibilities

Contribute to the effective organisation and use of resources.

Contribute to the quality of care and welfare of pupils.

Support the needs of pupils in effectively accessing the curriculum.

Support the quality of learning and teaching in the Nursery.

The Individual

Experience of working with children under 5 years

Having achieved or working towards the following qualifications:

NC Early Education and Childcare or equivalent

Or

SVQ Level 2 Social Services (Children and Young People)

SSSC Registered (if you are not appropriately registered with the Scottish Social Services Council (SSSC) prior to taking up post, you must apply for registration within 3 months and, be fully registered within 6 months)

Effective organisation skills.

Effective communication skills.

Enjoy working with children.

Flexible and adaptable approach.

Ability to work as part of a team.

Temporary Post until April 2026

Starting Salary: £24935 (pro rata)

£12.96 per hour

16 hours per week (term time)
