Job Summary
We are seeking a friendly and organised Dental Receptionist to join our dental practice. The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for patients, providing exceptional customer service while managing administrative tasks efficiently. This role is crucial in ensuring a smooth operation within the practice and maintaining a welcoming environment for all patients.
Responsibilities:
Greet patients warmly upon arrival and assist with check-in procedures.
Schedule appointments and manage the appointment calendar effectively.
Handle patient inquiries, both in person and over the phone, providing accurate information regarding services and procedures.
Maintain patient records, ensuring all information is up-to-date and confidential.
Process patient payments and manage billing inquiries.
Coordinate with dental staff to ensure seamless patient flow throughout the day.
Assist with administrative tasks such as filing, data entry, and managing correspondence.
Ensure the reception area is tidy and welcoming at all times.
Skills:
Strong administrative skills with attention to detail.
Proficient in office software applications (e.g., Microsoft Office Suite).
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
Ability to multitask and prioritise effectively in a fast-paced environment.
A friendly demeanour with a strong customer service orientation.
Previous experience in a dental or healthcare setting is advantageous but not essential.
