Summary
Our client, based in Usk, is currently recruiting a maintenance operative, to assist with the day to day running of a large residential property.
This is a permanent position with core hours Monday to Friday 8.30 – 16.30, with additional hours available some weekends. A degree of flexibility around these hours would be beneficial.
Main responsibilities would include maintaining and upkeep of the grounds and therefore previous experience in this area would be essential. The ability to perform basic maintenance and general property upkeep, ensuring they remain safe and well-maintained, would also be a requirement. The right candidate would need to address any issues, implement preventative maintenance, and respond promptly to maintenance requests and carrying out necessary work efficiently.
Skills and Qualifications:
• Garden Maintenance: Proficiency in maintaining and upkeep of lawns, trees, shrubs, and grounds.
• Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to identify and resolve issues effectively.
• Communication Skills: Ability to communicate clearly and professionally with colleagues.
• Organisational Skills: Ability to prioritise tasks and manage time effectively.
• Driving License: A driving license is essential not only due to location, but any additional weekend hours would require driving (vehicle provided).
