A leading precision engineering company based in Sherborne is currently seeking an experienced CNC Turner to join its growing team. This role offers the opportunity to work on a variety of CNC machines, including Fanuc-controlled turning centres, single and twin spindle, B Axis mill/turn, and sliding head machines.

The company specialises in producing high-quality, precision-machined components for a wide range of industries. Due to continued growth and demand, they are looking to expand their skilled workforce.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Programming, setting, and operating Fanuc-controlled CNC turning centres, including single and twin spindle, B Axis mill/turn, and sliding head machines.

  • Reading and interpreting technical drawings and specifications.

  • Monitoring machining operations to ensure accuracy and quality.

  • Performing routine maintenance to maintain machine performance.

  • Adhering to safety procedures and company protocols.

  • Collaborating with team members to meet production deadlines.

  • Maintaining a clean, organised, and efficient work environment.
