Summary

Job Advert

An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the Association of Colleges (AoC) as our Marketing Manager. AoC is the national voice
for further education colleges in England, representing almost 95% of the sector and supporting over 2.2 million students every
year. As a not-for-profit organisation established by colleges, for colleges, we are committed to transforming lives through
education, skills and opportunity.

We’re looking for a creative marketing professional to lead on the planning and delivery of high-impact marketing campaigns across
AoC’s wide-ranging services – from events, training and recruitment to consultancy, sport, and awards. This is a varied and
influential role, sitting within the Communications, Media, Marketing and Research team, and working closely with colleagues
across the organisation to support engagement, income generation and brand visibility.

The role is advertised on a permanent, full-time basis, with flexible hybrid working from our London office. As Marketing Manager,
you will develop and implement marketing plans across a diverse range of projects, creating engaging content that speaks to our
members and customers. You will oversee our web presence, manage relationships with agencies and suppliers, support brand
consistency, and provide valuable insights using analytics and data. The role also involves working with internal stakeholders and
sponsors to maximise the impact of AoC’s commercial and charitable activities, while leading and developing a Marketing and
Communications Officer.

We’re looking for someone with strong experience in creating and delivering marketing campaigns, ideally within a membership or
education context. You’ll have a flair for compelling content, digital marketing and project management, alongside excellent
communication and relationship-building skills. Experience of using data to improve performance, managing a website, and leading
or supervising others is also important. A marketing qualification and a passion for the further education sector will be a strong
advantage.

At AoC, we value trust, flexibility and professional growth. You’ll join a high-performing, mission-led organisation that offers
generous benefits, flexible working, and opportunities to develop your career while making a positive impact on the FE community.

If you're a driven marketing professional looking to make a difference in a values-led organisation, we’d love to hear from you.
