We are recruiting a Pantry Lead to oversee the day to day running of our Community Pantry and Polytunnel. You will be responsible
for maintaining order and cleanliness in the Pantry, ensure that pantry members are welcomed and supported.
As the Pantry is volunteer led, you will need to support the recruitment, onboarding and supervision of your volunteers. To
succeed in this role, you will need excellent organisational and communication skills, as well as a keen eye for detail.
Previous experience managing networks of people is desirable, as well as an interest in gardening and pantry operations.
The role is for 15 hours, Wednesday and Thursday. The Pantry is open Wednesdays and Thursdays, 10am-4pm.

What You'll Do
* Maintain order and cleanliness in the Pantry
* Keep account of donations to the Pantry
* Support the recruitment and onboarding of volunteers
* Replenish stock from a variety of sources
* Maintain a monthly rota for pantry opening times, and match volunteers to appropriate sessions
* Support and supervise the Gardening Facilitator to ensure the smooth running of the Grow Project at 340.

^Annual Leave entitlement will be pro-rata for Part-time staff. Working on public holidays due to a rota pattern will be
compensated with time off in lieu. An extra day of leave accrues for each completed financial year (capped at 5). Purchasing
additional holidays is capped at 5 per year.
^^Contracted staff only. Business mileage (45p a mile) is paid for any daily miles over and above the distance from your home to
the allocated workplace location and back. You'll need a well-maintained vehicle with valid tax, MOT and Insurance covering
business use.
