Salary: £500-£600 per week

Location: Gravesend, DA12

Start date: Immediate or September 2025

Graduate Unqualified Chemistry Teacher: Candidate Specification

- We are looking for a Graduate Unqualified Chemistry Teacher who holds a degree in Chemistry, Science, Engineering, or a related field.

- Demonstrate a passion for teaching and a commitment to the academic and personal growth of students.

- Show strong communication skills and the ability to explain complex concepts in an engaging and accessible manner

- Previous experience working with young people e.g., tutoring, mentoring, teaching or volunteering in an educational setting (desirable but not essential)

Graduate Unqualified Chemistry Teacher: Job Role

As a Graduate unqualified Chemistry teacher, you will work closely with experienced educators to support the teaching and learning of Chemistry across various key stages

- Work with small groups or individual students to provide targeted support, particularly in areas where they may struggle or need extra help

- Collaborate with the Science department to prepare and deliver hands-on laboratory experiments, making Chemistry come to life through practical activities

- Assist in the creation of lesson plans, ensuring that lessons are structured and aligned with the curriculum

- Monitor student progress by tracking performance, identifying areas of difficulty, and helping implement targeted interventions where necessary
