Summary
About the Energy team
The Utilities Commercial Team is responsible for delivering the Energy agenda for the MOD estate both in the UK (inc. NI) and Overseas. The Utilities portfolio consists of several key contracts that deliver the supply of electricity, gas and oils to the MOD Estate that total circa £2bn.
The Energy workstream is responsible for delivering a programme of commercial requirements that supports the MOD in achieving its Net Zero targets and decarbonisation agenda.
This also includes supporting the Future Energy Programme in developing commercial strategies to obtain and generate green energy. The future generation of green energy is pivotal in aiding site resilience, financial challenges and delivering initiatives such as Electric Vehicle Infrastructure to military sites.
